Lead tech & Xano expert

Rabil Rafiq

I design the architecture and I implement it — with low-code platforms and AI-assisted development — so technical and functional teams stay on the same page.

About

I’m Rabil Rafiq, based in the Paris area.

I trained as an engineer at IPSA, with a semester at the University of Limerick. I did not come through a traditional software-engineering course. I model data, I reason about flows, and I ship with low-code platforms and AI-assisted development.

Since March 2026 I have been at Revalorem in Paris, as lead tech and Xano expert. From October 2021 to March 2026 I was lead tech at Alegria.tech, after starting there as a no-code developer. Product ownership was part of that work, not the main frame.

The job is to understand a product, shape the data and the flows, write a spec, and implement it. I do that with Xano, Bubble and WeWeb, and I keep the people who need the product aligned with the people who build it.

Lead tech

Alegria.tech Designed the architecture and delivered with teams of about five. Product ownership stayed secondary. BluedigoActimob (SNCF)StratExecution More details

Ran projects from design through delivery with cross-functional teams, usually about five people.

Bluedigo, a second-hand furniture marketplace: steady improvements in production, and one place for products, quotes and invoicing across sales, merchants and buyers. The platform was live with more than 3,000 users.

Actimob (SNCF): a responsive portal to book a mobile truck service in rural areas. Delivered in three months, with a simpler back office, and a pilot that showed the idea could scale nationally.

StratExecution: moved task tracking out of Excel into a SaaS tool, so front-end and back-end work could be prioritised together and people in the same company could follow their own tasks.

Technical design: data models, user flows and UML diagrams.

Mentored five interns and apprentices on the technical side and on Agile. Also set up a pre-sales routine so delivery was consulted before a project was sold.

Skills

What I actually use to frame a product and get it into people’s hands.

How I work

  • Agile / Scrum

Backlog, sprints and tickets in Jira, so the team works from one list.

  • Specs

Requirements written so design, data and delivery start from the same page.

  • Architecture

Data models, user flows and UML, then the implementation on the platform.

  • Code review

I review what gets shipped, including work produced with AI tools, before it goes further.

SensCritique+

Live

A free browser extension for a SensCritique collection: stats, ratings from other sites, Wrapped, and exports.

  • Browser extension
  • Manifest V3
  • JavaScript
  • Local-first
More details

SensCritique+ runs in Chrome, Firefox and other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi). It reads a collection — films, series, games, books, comics and music — and adds ratings from IMDb, Letterboxd, Allociné, Metacritic, Rotten Tomatoes and TMDB, plus Goodreads, Steam and GOG where they apply. There is a Wrapped for any period, CSV and ZIP export, and image cards you can share. The collection stays cached in the browser and there is no account. A public page can also read a SensCritique profile without the extension, including on a phone.

Independent — product design, specification and delivery, with AI-assisted development.

Chrome Web Store: 118 users, rated 5.0 from 5 ratings (September 2026).

Independent project, not affiliated with SensCritique.

  • I love the SensCritique+ project. It is incredible — the features that already exist and the ones still planned. I found it by chance on Twitter during the SensCritique outage. It meets a lot of usability criteria, and it keeps improving. Keep going, it’s great.
